Edinburgh's Gay & Lesbian Scene
Don't believe Edinburgh's reputation for being dour Calvinists. We are not all like Gordon Brown.
At the top of Leith Walk and down Broughton Street there are a number of gay cafés, bars and nightclubs. All are gay, but most of them are straight-friendly and for some Edinburgh locals a quite familiar part of the social circuit. Although the gay scene is mainly located in this pink triangle, there is stuff going on all over town.
