At the Charlotte Square end of George Street, this popular haunt for families with the kids "making their own" pizza and later for parties and especially hen parties has recently had a makeover to make it see more chic.
Sadly, the restaurant refurbishment has been accompanied by a woeful drop in standards of service. The Italians waiters are still charming enough, but the long waits are enough to children and parents and the otherwise dull menu makes this a poor choice for adults when there are so many other local restaurants with more to offer.
