Canongate Kirk
Address: Canongate, at the bottom of the Royal Mile
Built in the 1680s after the congregation was forced out of Holyrood Abbey. Still the local congregation church: even the Queen has a reserved pew in the kirk.
More interesting are the graves in the churchyard, notably that of economist Adam Smith.
